He could honestly say he had no idea what he was doing. He had the food all prepared, his clothes were flawless, the place was clean. What else was he forgetting?
He spun around in circles as he kept double checking things. He wrung his hands together. He was also nervous.
“Myungsoo!” he heard a voice call him. He quickly rushed to the front door.
When he opened it he was met with Sungyeol’s tired face, “They didn’t make it.”
Myungsoo felt a part of his heart sink, “How can we do this without the cake?”
Sungyeol could only shrug his shoulders, “We could wait for them to make it and rush here after it’s done?”
“But what if you’re late?” Myungsoo wondered, “How am I supposed to—”
“Don’t worry!” Sungyeol said and clapped Myungsoo on the shoulder, “We’ll manage somehow. I think.”
Myungsoo sighed, “I’m counting on you, Sungyeol.”
